Battle of Cleft Rock, Sept 12th.

"Eleandor lay motionless in the undergrowth next to the edge of the bluff. On the ground below her, the people she had tracked for 3 days were donning black robes and drawing serpentine daggers from beneath their cloaks. They began to slowly form a circle around a large stone with strange markings on it. At first, the chanting was low and nearly indiscernible from the rushing waters of the river in the distance. Then, it grew louder and louder. The familiarity chilled her to the bone. She had heard this same chant the night they took her sister... The night it came for her village.

Eleandor quickly pushed herself up and began running as fast as she could. She didn't care that they had spotted her. She didn't care that she had just seen several dozen slaves sacrificed right before her eyes. All that concerned her was the large fissure that had opened in the rock at the edge of the cliff and that something much larger than what destroyed her village was trying to break its way through. Perhaps if she warned the others in time they could find a way to send it back to where it came from.

As Eleandor ran through the woods she felt the great, cold hands of something as old as the hills reaching for her. She wasn't sure, but she swore it whispered her name as it wrapped its fingers around her. "

The Realm of Fauldenfell and The Knights of the Great Old Ones Proudly Present our 2nd event and season opener: The Battle of Cleft Rock.

This event will feature:

• woods battles
• field battles
• tournaments (YES! There will be prizes!)
• food
• Story driven quest, the 1st of its kind for Fauldenfell
• Bridge Battles
• Boat Battles
• Fauldenfell War Council
• And much, much more!

This will be a kill n' grill meaning that lunch WILL be included in the cost of admission! We will be posting a full itinerary soon as well as forming carpool groups to get to the event.

Since this is an official event, garb IS required. Minimum age for participation is 15. Minors MUST have a release form signed and notarized by their parent/ legal guardian. Your parent must sign this release at the event or you must bring a notarized copy with you to the event. No exceptions.

Loaner weapons and loaner garb will be on hand but priority is given to new players. Rental of these items will be on a first come, first serve basis otherwise.

Additionally, merchants will be on hand selling weapons and garb.

We truly think this will be an amazing start to an amazing season. We hope to see you there!
